Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health in Springfield, IL. The role involves oversight of all hospital pharmacy operations and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe medication use and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates will hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Illinois license in good standing, and CPR certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Experience: One year of experience as a Pharmacist preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Illinois State licensure in good standing required. Successful CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Preferred Schedule: Fridays and other shifts as requested.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies and state/federal laws.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe, effective medication use.
