Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide clinical and distributive pharmaceutical care. You will fill medications, monitor therapies, counsel patients, and supervise support staff, supporting the Director of Pharmacy as needed.

Qualifications include CA pharmacist license, California CPI within 30 days, and 1–3 years hospital experience with Pyxis systems.

Formación

• One year hospital pharmacy experience minimum; 1–3 years preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current Pharmacist licensure in California.
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Position Description

Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Staff Pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient's drug therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
