Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities is seeking a Pharmacist for a Per Diem position in Davenport, IA. The role involves hospital pharmacy operations, drug distribution, IV admixture, and clinical support in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for a working knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
