Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a per diem Pharmacist for on-site work in New Jersey. The role involves dispensing medications, ensuring safety, and integrating clinical services within pharmacy operations.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy and be an active New Jersey Pharmacist. Strong knowledge of regulations and leadership abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Active New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacy, Federal and State regulations and JCAHO standards.

Responsibilities

• Reviews orders to determine therapeutic rationale and safety.
• Efficiently and accurately performs pharmaceutical dispensing functions.
• Incorporates clinical services into pharmacy functions.
• Provides pharmaceutical information to customers, health care professionals, patients and families to improve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of IV sterile products preparation.
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to supervise pharmacy operations and support staff.

Hourly Rate:

$80.00
