Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a pharmacist to join our team. You will provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients, educate them on medication usage, side effects, and cost-saving options, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services.

You will ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, and mentor pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment as part of a growing retail pharmacy operation.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-saving options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
