Job summary

Community Care Resources, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to ensure safe and effective medication use across healthcare settings in Florida. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapy and improve outcomes.

The role includes immunizations, inventory management, and participation in hospital and retail operations. A PharmD and active license are required, with preferred experience in EHR systems and pharmacoeconomics.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license to practice in the United States.
• Experience in medication therapy management.
• Familiarity with hospital and retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy benefit management.
• Preferred: experience with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management software.
• Preferred: pharmacoeconomics training or certification.
• Preferred: hospital or large retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct medication therapy management to optimize regimens.
• Provide patient counseling on use, interactions, and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on dosing and formulary decisions.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and storage.
• Administer immunizations and educate patients on schedules.
• Apply pharmacoeconomics principles to support cost-effective use.
• Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Contribute to hospital and retail pharmacy operations and PBM tasks.
• Demonstrate dexterity in preparing and dispensing medications.
