Job summary

Walgreens is recruiting a pharmacist to join its pharmacy team in a patient-focused environment. You will provide expert-level counseling, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management.

You’ll ensure safety and compliance while mentoring teammates, with opportunities for growth and access to Walgreens University training and benefits. This is a full-time, on-site pharmacist position at Walgreens locations.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy teammates in a collaborative environment.
