Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist in Kentucky to join our team as medication experts delivering compassionate, patient-focused care across our community pharmacies. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options, and perform immunizations and medication therapy management.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year retail pharmacy experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
