Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to deliver expert-level pharmacy consulting and compassionate patient care in our retail pharmacies. You’ll educate patients on medication usage, immunizations, cost-effective options, and therapy management while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You’ll mentor team members, participate in immunization programs, and contribute to a patient-centered pharmacy that supports growth, learning, and excellent service across our stores.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Retail pharmacy experience and knowledge of pharmacy software and insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
