Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to join our customer-focused team in the United States. You will provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and medication therapy management to patients.

You will ensure medication safety, educate patients on usage and costs, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced retail environment. A BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, current licensure, and immunization certification are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations and familiarity with pharmacy software and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
