Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacist to serve as a medication expert and trusted healthcare provider across our retail stores. You will deliver immunizations, medication therapy management, and clinical services while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

You will educate patients on usage and costs, mentor pharmacy staff, and participate in a broad range of health and wellness initiatives. Competitive pay, PTO after three months, and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
