Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy services to patients. You will educate patients on medications, usage, side effects, and cost-effective options, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of retail pharmacist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver immunizations and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment.
