Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage and costs, and deliver clinical services including immunizations. You will ensure safety and accuracy in dispensing while mentoring the pharmacy team. A retail setting background and active license are required.

The role supports a patient-focused care model with opportunities for growth, using Walgreens University training and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
