Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients, educate on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.

You will deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management, and ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the district states

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire

Retail pharmacy experience (preferred) 1+ year
