Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting and patient care in our community stores.

You’ll educate patients on medication use, administer immunizations, and ensure safe dispensing and regulatory compliance while mentoring team members. Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
