Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing required.

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to pharmacy standards and dress codes.
• Learn trade area, customers, and competition to improve service.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through strong service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, policy adherence, records, and security per policy.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and ensure proper handling of pharmacy products.
• Ensure use of accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits as required.
• Maintain signage and keep work area clean and organized.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
