Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies pharmacy seeks a licensed pharmacist to fulfill prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will administer vaccines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and active licensure, the ability to handle stressful situations, and strong communication skills. Retail experience and a second language are desirable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with a focus on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and pharmacy standards.
• Monitor inventory, pricing, recalls and related records.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and security.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits.
