Kroger Family of Companies in Medford, Oregon is seeking a licensed pharmacist to fulfill prescription needs with high accuracy, administer vaccines, and provide comprehensive patient counseling and pharmaceutical care. You will ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable laws, maintain professional standards, and manage inventory and records in a busy retail pharmacy.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, active state licensure, and at least one year of retail experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsabilidades

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image and adherence to company standards.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and compliance with policies.
• Maintain records, security, and proper operation of equipment.
• Handle scheduled drugs and controlled substances with proper recordkeeping.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools like scanners and audit reports.
• Maintain signage and cleanliness in the pharmacy area.
• Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
• Ability to work in high paced and stressful environments.
• Ability to manage conflict professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Provide support to diverse customer groups including minors and seniors.
