Molloy Medical Arts Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in New York, handling dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with prescribers. The role includes supervision of staff, inventory management, and insurance processing in a compliant, fast-paced environment.

The position requires strong attention to safety, accuracy in medication dispensing, and knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Fill prescription orders accurately according to doctor instructions.
• Review patient profiles for dangerous drug interactions, duplicate therapies, improper dosages, and allergies.
• Explain how to take prescribed drugs, potential side effects, and proper storage.
• Recommend non-prescription products and refer customers to doctors when necessary.
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
• Order and stock prescription medications, OTC products, and supplies.
• Process insurance claims, resolve billing rejections, and communicate with prescribers.
• Follow federal and state laws regarding controlled substances and pharmacy operations.
