Job summary

Gems Drugs Pharmacy in Reserve, LA is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team. You will receive prescriptions, review for accuracy, and fill them with the correct medicine and dose while advising customers on medications and storage.

The ideal candidate holds a current state pharmacist license (RPh), may have an Immunization license, and demonstrates strong customer service, attention to detail, and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state pharmacist license (RPh).
• Immunization License is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and review prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions.
• Provide information to patients on side effects, dosage, storage, and interactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy files.
• Conduct inventory and organize incoming stock and categorization.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
