Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will deliver immunizations, medication therapy management, and safe dispensing while ensuring regulatory compliance. Mentoring teammates, educating customers, and optimizing cost-effective options are core to this role.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
