Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in retail pharmacy.

As a medication expert and trusted healthcare provider, you will deliver patient-focused care, offer immunizations, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing. You will educate patients on medication usage and costs, support billing and insurance processes, and participate in ongoing training through Walgreens University.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
