Walgreens is hiring a pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, education on medications, and clinical services such as immunizations. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and compliance in a retail pharmacy setting.

The candidate will participate in immunization programs, medication management, and team mentorship while delivering high-quality service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment
