Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in a patient-focused environment. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage and cost-saving options, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will ensure medication safety, regulatory compliance, and contribute to training other team members in a collaborative setting. A valid pharmacist license and immunization certification or willingness to become one within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Education
