Job summary

Walgreens, a historic pharmacy leader, is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver expert-level care in a community setting. You will counseling patients, review medications, immunize when eligible, and ensure safe dispensing while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with clinical teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in programs to promote wellness, vaccinations, and cost-effective therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Must hold current pharmacist licensure in the relevant state(s).
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
