V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Pharmacist for our premier client in Spokane, Valley WA. You will educate patients, supervise pharmacy staff, and ensure compliant medication dispensing. The role includes compiling and maintaining accurate patient records and offering counseling on medications and health services.

The position emphasizes safe handling of devices, inventory management, and adherence to regulatory standards within a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters. Compound medications for external or internal use. Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks. Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns. Ensure medicines are within the law and suitable for patients. Maintain confidential patient records.
• Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medications, including storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions; offer smoking cessation, blood pressure and cholesterol management services.
