Job summary
Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Phoenix, AZ to provide pharmaceutical care, accurately dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and administer immunizations while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. Minimum qualifications include a PharmD or B.Pharm degree, NABP licensure by the start date, and completion of an ACPE
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (or equivalent NABP FPGE)
- Pharmacy license (by start date)
- ACPE accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, State Pharmacy Association)
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
- Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
- Administer immunizations and other Walmart programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Model and guide pharmacy staff on customer service approaches.
