Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and therapy management. You will educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and costs, and ensure safety through proper dispensing.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience in retail pharmacy preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
