Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist to manage the daily operations of the Outpatient Pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing and timely service. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, performing drug utilization reviews, counseling patients, immunizing, and supporting medication therapy management.
Responsibilities also include directing staff, maintaining records, and contributing to cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives across outpatient locations.
The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the Outpatient Pharmacy to ensure accurate and timely service. Pharmacists are responsible for providing medications and other supplies as needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices. Additionally, outpatient pharmacists evaluate drug therapies, counsel patients, immunize, and perform medication therapy management.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
Preferred Education: Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school
Experience: One year of outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
