Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee daily operations, ensure safe medication use, and contribute to clinical services within a post-acute care setting.

You will participate in interdisciplinary teams, develop pharmacy-specific policies aligning with Joint Commission standards, and support patient outcomes while advancing professional growth and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• State license in good standing for the state where the hospital is located.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contribute to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Actively participate in the interdisciplinary team to utilize critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
