Job summary

A leading pharmacy care solutions company is seeking a Staff Floater Pharmacist to work full-time in various locations throughout the NYC area. Responsibilities include interpreting drug orders, providing patient counseling, and managing pharmacy operations in the absence of senior staff. Ideal candidates will possess a Pharm D and a valid NY Pharmacist license, along with strong leadership and customer service skills. The position offers competitive pay of $70-$72 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharm D or equivalent demonstrated experience required.
• Current/Clear New York Pharmacist license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications and interactions.
• Dispense prescriptions and compound where necessary.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians.
