Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team and provide expert pharmacy consulting to patients in a fast-paced retail setting. You will educate patients on medication usage, discuss side effects, and offer cost-effective options while delivering immunizations and other clinical services.

As a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure safety through precise dispensing, regulatory compliance, and ongoing staff mentoring, contributing to a high-quality patient care experience across Walgreens

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
