Job summary

RPC Company is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead a moderate- to low-volume compounding pharmacy in Irving, Texas. You will oversee daily operations, supervise two technicians, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing in full compliance with Texas Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and applicable requirements.

You will collaborate with clinics to ensure patients receive the right medications and follow treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Three years of compounding experience and/or two years as operations pharmacist or supervisor.
• APhA Immunization Delivery Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state prescription requirements, insurance compliance, and DEA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and supervise two technicians.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing.
• Maintain inventory controls and oversee ordering and storage.
• Provide medication counseling to patients, providers, and clinic staff.
• Collaborate with physicians on prescriptions, insurance, and prior authorizations.
• Manage payroll, time off, and staff certifications.
• Lead account development and community outreach activities.
• Administer vaccines and point-of-care testing where permitted.
