Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy in Bangor, ME is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to lead our employee-owned pharmacy team.

This role combines clinical leadership with operational excellence, focusing on quality patient care, MTM, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Ideal candidates will have PharmD, active Maine license, 2–3 years supervisory experience, and a passion for collaborative, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Education: PharmD from an accredited school.
• Licensure: Active state pharmacist license.
• Experience: 2–3 years as licensed pharmacist; supervisory preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical services.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff including technicians.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substances and patient privacy.
• Provide patient consultations and MTM, counseling on prescriptions, and OTC advice.
• Maintain inventory control and stocking of medications and supplies.
• Handle medication orders, prescriptions, and refills timely and accurately.
• Monitor performance metrics and improve operations and patient satisfaction.
• Foster collaborative culture among staff and healthcare professionals.
• Represent the pharmacy in the community and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Support ESOP culture by encouraging employee involvement.
