Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Second language skills (speaking/reading/writing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and monitor inventory.
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances.
• Provide patient counseling on medication adherence.
• Collaborate with Pharmacist-In-Charge to set schedules.
• Weekdays open 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; weekends 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Sat 10–5 Sun.

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening with one of the nation's leading pharmacies in Madisonville, KY.

Daily Responsibilities For The Pharmacist-In-Charge

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics
• Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendors
• You will work with the PIC to establish schedule
• Weekdays – Open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Weekends – Open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 – 5 on Sundays

Required Qualifications for the Pharmacist-In-Charge

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Preferred Qualifications for the Pharmacist-In-Charge

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Pay Details

• Salary Range: $153,000- $161,000 | PLUS annual bonus opportunity
