Job summary

Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, invites a dedicated pharmacist to oversee daily operations and contribute to policy development. You will lead a team within the hospital pharmacy, ensuring safe medication use and patient-centered care.

You will participate in interdisciplinary rounds, interpret and dispense medications accurately, and support clinical services development while aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the applicable state.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Developing pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
• Active participation in interdisciplinary teams to leverage information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in line with legal and professional standards.
