Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team and provide expert pharmacy consulting and patient care across a busy retail setting.

You will educate patients on medication usage, administer immunizations, and deliver clinical services such as medication therapy management while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role includes mentoring staff and participating in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Retail pharmacy experience including prescription filling and verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
