Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Maryland is seeking a Certified Pharmacist Immunizer to join our pharmacy team. You will work with leaders and technicians to deliver exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities include answering customer questions with empathy, counseling on prescriptions, ensuring accurate workflow and error-free products, maintaining inventory, and staying current on wellness initiatives while complying with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist state license (may require licensing in multiple states).
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Certified Pharmacist Immunizer.
• AED, CPR certified.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer, assess and listen to customer questions with empathy.
• Counsel on prescriptions and at-home use of medication.
• Maintain accurate workflow to ensure error-free products.
• Maintain product levels and seek efficiency improvements.
• Stay current on wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Verify licensing in states Wegmans operates in.
