We’re seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a flexible, variable-shift opportunity in San Luis Obispo, California. This role is ideal for a clinically strong pharmacist with inpatient experience and Cerner proficiency.

Schedule

10-hour shifts:

6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Schedule is as needed

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy – Required

2–3 years hospital experience – Required

IV Certification (such as CriticalPoint) – Preferred

PharmD – Preferred

Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience – Preferred

Key Responsibilities

Process, verify, and distribute medication orders in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

Ensure medication therapy is safe, effective, and cost-efficient

Review prescribing for indication, dose, route, frequency, allergies, and drug interactions

Manage daily medication utilization reports and identify improvement opportunities

Perform quality assurance procedures

Participate in clinical rounds, unit-based medication management, and remote order verification

Support all pharmacy-related programs and initiatives as directed
