Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients in a community setting. You will verify prescriptions, educate patients on medication usage, and deliver immunizations as applicable.

With a focus on accuracy, safety, and compliance, you will collaborate with store teams to deliver excellent patient experiences. Eligible candidates must hold a pharmacy degree and licensure in the relevant state(s).

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
