Pay Range USD $124,100.00 - USD $155,200.00 /Yr.

Overview
Due to growth, we are adding a Pharmacist Fulfillment Manager (PIC) to our Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Services department. Lumicera offers a $10k relocation bonus to candidates outside of a 50‑mile radius.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily specialty mail pharmacy fulfillment operations, including dispensing, RPh verification, shipping, cold‑chain handling, and delivery issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state pharmacy laws, accreditation standards (URAC/ACHC), HIPAA, and internal policies and SOPs.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, coaching, engagement and performance management for pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
- Drive quality and safety programs: medication error prevention, incident reporting, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous process improvement.
- Support inventory management for specialty drugs, LDPs, REMS programs, controlled substances, and hazardous drug handling.
- Maintain cold‑chain integrity and develop procedures for packing, shipping, temperature excursions, and returns.
- Monitor operational KPIs (turnaround time, accuracy, abandonment, delivery success, patient satisfaction, cost per script) and implement improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service levels as needed.
- Prepare for and lead audits/inspections; maintain documentation, training records, and regulatory readiness.
- Support implementation and optimization of pharmacy systems, workflow tools, e‑prescribing interfaces, and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- PharmD or BS degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence, or ability to gain reciprocity within 4 months.
- 5+ years as a licensed Pharmacist required.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- 1+ year of professional experience as a Specialty Pharmacist strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy drugs including REMS and LDP best practices preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory control; state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the legal operation of a pharmacy required.
- 3+ years’ experience managing specialty pharmacy mail operations, cold‑chain shipping, or limited distribution networks preferred.
- Experience with accreditation (URAC/ACHC) and regulatory inspections (BOP, DEA if applicable) preferred.
- Familiarity with REMS programs, hazardous drug handling, and specialty payer requirements preferred.
- Lean/Six Sigma training or equivalent continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Multi‑state licensure experience and/or oversight of non‑resident pharmacy requirements preferred.
