Job summary

PriceChopper is seeking a licensed pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations and dispense medications accurately. You will counsel patients, interact with prescribers, and participate in immunization and MTM services to improve health outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of pharmacy software. Overnight travel and variable shifts may be involved to support store operations and customer service.

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state of practice.
Immunization certification or ability to complete.
Effective communication: verbal, written and electronic.
Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
Experience with pharmacy software and dispensing systems.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications with accuracy and patient education.
Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department.
Counsel patients and providers on drugs, interactions and side effects.
Participate in immunizations, MTM and wellness programs.
Train and supervise pharmacy interns, technicians and staff.
Maintain compliance with laws and company policies.
Support continuous quality improvement and customer service.
