Price Chopper Supermarkets—Market 32 in Scranton is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately and educate patients. You will oversee daily pharmacy operations, communicate with prescribers, and provide counseling and immunization services.

The role includes MTM, verifying third-party adjudication, supervising interns and technicians, and contributing to community health programs while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Formación

Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing within the state of practice.
Immunization Certification or agreement by pharmacist to complete.
Ability to communicate effectively: verbal, written and electronic.
Strong decision-making, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsabilidades

Dispense prescription medications with accurate records, third party adjudication, and patient charges.
Counsel patients and providers on drug use, interactions, and side effects; monitor health progress to optimize therapies.
Provide immunization and MTM services to patients and participate in wellness programs.
Supervise pharmacy staff, train interns/technicians, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Contribute to business development and community outreach; maintain clean, organized workspaces.
