Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting and patient education across a range of clinical services including immunizations, MTM, and safety-focused dispensing. You will support a high-performing team and empower patients with cost-effective options and preventive care.

Qualified candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, active licensure in the district, and immunization certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days. Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred (1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
