Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our patient‑centered team. You will provide compassionate, expert‑level counseling, educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost‑effective options, and deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will ensure medication safety through accurate compounding and dispensing, mentor pharmacy staff, and assist with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
