Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist in the United States to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients, including education on medication usage and cost-saving options. The role includes immunizations, MTM, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will dispense medications accurately, maintain quality standards, and mentor teammates in a collaborative setting. A BS in Pharmacy and active licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of retail pharmacist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects and cost-effective options.
• Deliver immunizations and clinical services including MTM and diagnostic testing.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
