Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services. You will help ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance while mentoring colleagues in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
