Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, immunizations, and therapy options, and ensure safe dispensing and regulatory compliance.

You’ll lead a collaborative team, mentor staff, and participate in growth opportunities through Walgreens University and tuition discounts.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting including prescription filling and verification, records and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
