Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert-level consults, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services. You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting the pharmacy team in a dynamic retail setting.

The candidate should hold a BS in Pharmacy, be licensed as a pharmacist in the district, and have prior retail pharmacy experience. Immunization certification or willingness is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree is required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
