Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver expert clinical services, immunizations, and medication therapy management in a patient-focused setting. You’ll ensure safety, counsel patients, and contribute to a collaborative pharmacy team.

Qualified candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, current licensure, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days; retail experience preferred. Walgreens offers competitive pay, PTO after 3 months, flexible scheduling, and tuition

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
